I watched The Ribbon Hero, today. It was fine.

I liked the look of it, but the pacing was off and the plot, while interesting, was definitely a little weak. I didn't feel like much was unexplained, other than the origin of the whole Nergal thing, but it was somewhat unsatisfying. I felt like not much happened. It was just... There's a bad thing, girl gets powers, girl fights things, girl wins, all good. OK? The characters were cool, though, especially the antagonists, which were antagonists but not strictly evil, and definitely sympathetic.

Overall, it's definitely much more aesthetic than anything else, and on that front it's way high. 2/5.

I started reading Hyouka. The translation I got is a little... Wack. The prose is wack. The content wasn't so bad for the first couple of chapters, but it was simultaneously not that interesting, either. I don't really care, is what I'm saying. I'm on a bit more of a movie binge, right now, I suppose. I might keep at Hyouka, or I might pick something else up with some heavier romance. I think I'll do the latter, but we shall see.
