Title pretty sums it up. If GameStop is going to put together an offer involving private equity… wouldn’t it make sense that they would withdraw the original offer?

There is a lot of FUD and shilling around the offer withdrawal meaning RC isn’t going after eBay. Which all just seems like a lot of knee jerk reactions, and shills preying off of those vulnerable moments of confusion.

But think about it for a moment, and let the facts process. How long ago did RC do his round of interviews where he talked about putting together a new offer which included $500 million of his own money? So we know a new deal is coming. The old offer was already refused. It is obviously going to come off the table before a new one is presented.
