In the second paragraph, the last sentence says “GameStop, as one of eBay’s largest shareholders, would seek representation on eBay’s board as part of any partnership, they added.”

If RC or one of his colleagues gets a spot on eBay’s board, wouldn’t that person have influence over calling shareholders votes for eBay? Would be great if they could get in and create a path towards an acquisition that might not be as costly. I know it’s still a rumor, but if it ends up being true, then I hope it’s simply for a change of plans that still accomplishes RC’s end goal.
