Hey Fedorans,

I'm happy to announce that the Fedora Project's incoming Community Architect, Shaun McCance, aka u/bockout is joining the moderator team here at r/Fedora. I wish Shaun all the best in his role as Community Architect, and I trust he'll do his part to help ensure this community remains healthy and vibrant.

Moderating a group of more than 200,000 subscribers burns a lot of energy and free time, all of which is volunteer. When performed well, much of this work happens behind the scenes and without interuption or distress to you, our community members. For small mod teams such as ours, it can be difficult to manage this without sacrificing other hobbies, family time, and more.

With that, I've decided to step down as the top moderator and pass the reigns over to u/Kitchen_Noise9422 in order to focus on other interests.

I just want to take a moment to say thank you to not only my fellow mods, but also the regular contributors here who have helped so many newcomers find their way to and through Fedora. Providing daily technical support can often be a thankless job, but know that your efforts are appreciated.

Please be kind to each other, and be the change you want to see in the world.
