I literally just finished Circe by Madeline Miller less than 24 hours ago. The book includes a version of this story, among many others, from Circe's perspective. I was also unfamiliar with the character despite being a big Greek & Roman mythology nerd as a kid.

Telemachus married Telegonus' mother, the enchantress Circe, while Telegonus took to wife Odysseus' widow Penelope.

What a pair of motherfuckers.

So someone just came up with a Odysseus OC and put him in a oedipus type scenario with a little twist. The more the things change the more they stay the same I guess. I bet the fanfic community in ancient times loved it!

Though it's not my typical book, I enjoyed it.
