Some rules we try to uphold:

Be civil. Bigotry is not welcome. This includes (but is not limited to): transphobia, queerphobia, racism, ageism and ableism. We do not promote hate.
Communities need to be Retro or Retro-adjacent.
Please don't upload pornographic content. (use an external image host for that)

Any self respecting male living space must have one of the checklist below:

Stormtrooper helmets
Nuka-Cola pinup girl poster/NCR flag
State license plate
Funko Pops
Variation of The Great Wave Off Kanagawa
Film posters in minimalist style
Spider-Man anything

Dishonourable mention:

Mounted animal heads (real or otherwise)

But I’d say far and away the MVP of [r/malelivingspace](r/malelivingspace) has to go to the humble LEGO Gameboy. Pretty sure it has outsold the actual Gameboy by now

Have I missed any other essentials?
