I plan to teach my dog to mine asteroids. I figure i start by playing fetch with a ball, then swap the ball for an asteroid shaped plushy.

I'll get him a modified spacesuit and start underwater "zero g" training, fetching in 3d.

Then all I need is a mecha with ore processing in the central body, so he can fetch asteroids, eat them, shit out purified metals and piss all the unwanted slag on Mars.
