Pixelart animation showing Johnny and V having a smoke on a rooftop during the final mission of Cyberpunk 2077, tall skyscrapers with bright advertisements boards stretch to the horizon, Johnny is looking at a "Relic, secure your soul" sign infront, which casts a bright blue light on them.
In the background Aerodyne vehicles are flying over the skyscrapers

Still post

The animation on Mastodon if it somehow doesn't load here

Excellent work. Is it difficult to make loops like this? I've heard that to make the loops non-boring, you repeat other parts of the animations so they "wait" for some longer animation to finish.

Yep repeating faster moving objects helps, another trick is to have the movement not to end on the last frame but to continue when the animation loops (moving cars, text, lights, etc..)

Its not difficult per se if you know pixelart and basic animating skills, but it takes a lot of time managing the different layers and frames.

Pixelorama

Hah, I checked if this has a Godot support, but it was built -in- Godot.

There are some extensions for Pixelorama that makes it easier to export, also there is a plugin that adds support for the Pixelorama project files in Godot
