I've been up all night vomiting blood, I was hoping it'd go away but at 5am I called in I got no sleep and I work a physically demanding job. I'm not going.

We're on a skeleton crew so i guess someone else called out today too, after I did i assume. So my boss adds us both to a group chat and says in a very rude and demanding we both need to come in because we're going to be understaffed and if we don't then we're going to get a write-up. The other employee had a little back and forth with her in the message thread and all I said was that I've been throwing up blood and I can bring a doctor's note.

I guess upon seeing that the other employee caved and they're going to go in but I'm still not, I actually just booked my Urgent Care visit.

Just to put into reference another employee just called out yesterday and I'm pretty sure they didn't get threatened with a write-up. Seems like the only time my bosses want to write people up is if someone calls out and theyre understaffed however, if you call out and they're not understaffed then they're not going to write you up I guess which isn't fair at all in my opinion.
