This is an automated archive made by the Lemmit Bot.The original was posted on /r/fedora by /u/SlntSam on 2026-08-14 20:44:44+00:00. Total n00b post. Been running 44 KDE for a few months now. Anyway, today I though I'd create a shortcut for konsole. Super+T makes sense to me, t for terminal. To my surprise I get this window manager thing and I can configure it. Then I figured out how to snap windows to my configured layout! omg I've been missing out. On most days, if I had shut down things or rebooted the computer, I'd fire up my apps and then organize them the way I want. But the window manager is so cool. Then I went to adjust the size of something only to notice that the other windows follow along! Shrinking one window automatically expands another to fill the space. Incredible and I wish I had known this even existing weeks ago! I know it's likely something trivial to everyone else, but to me it's an unexpected discovery and a bit of a quality of life game changer for day to day. Through all of this I learned there's already a shortcut for konsole, it's ctrl+alt+t. |
