![]() Link: https://old.reddit.com/r/opensource/comments/1voh2r7/after_running_it_commercially_i_opensourced_my/ This is an automated archive made by the Lemmit Bot.The original was posted on /r/opensource by /u/mikebcity on 2026-08-14 19:31:54+00:00. I built a self-hosted alternative to Dropbox + Google Docs + DocuSign, and running it as a commercial SaaS. Today the entire codebase is open source under MIT — the platform and the operator console, with no held-back "enterprise edition." Highlights: per-tenant encryption at rest (the storage provider only sees ciphertext), sharing + file-request portals, in-browser office co-editing (Collabora/WOPI), PDF tools, e-signatures with PKCS#7-sealed documents, and the full business layer (Stripe billing, seats, metering, support desk) if you want to run it for others. It's built to be readable: one Go binary per service, a React app embedded in the executable, Postgres for everything. Docs, env examples, and a systemd unit are in the repo. Repo: https://github.com/elevityadmin/trilli I'm the author — feedback, issues, and PRs (an S3/MinIO storage backend is top of the wishlist) are very welcome. |
