I am 21 years old and have yet to get my driver's license. Being able to drive would make my life waaaay easier, but I think I would be a really bad driver. I am trying to find a job (after getting fired from 2 jobs in a row), but i just moved back in with my parents who live in a place that doesnt have anywhere to walk to. So it's really hard for me to find a job right now. I have a hard time interpreting situations and improvising, as well as issues with motor functions and spacial awareness. I know having a car is a big responsibility in general as well, and I'm not sure i can handle all of it. For those of you who do drive, how difficult is it for you? Would it really be a bad idea to start driving? I might be overthinking it, but I'm really not confident in my abilities. I feel like I have to start driving eventually, though, since I live in a rural part of the US currently, although that won't be permanent. |
