Hello, autistic here. I have a good friend of mine who just got a large tattoo on the back of their neck. It is a bunch on flowers. I am a big tattoo lover, I have several larger pieces. We’ve all heard the “don’t say anything about someone’s appearance they can’t change” Thought but knowing I like tattoos I expect him to ask me what I think about it. Usually if I don’t like the style in a tattoo I will just compliment the placement or the line depth or some small detail I can pick out and appreciate. But this is just a generally bad tat. Placement is not centered and looks uncomfortable, crowded on one side, lines aren’t straight and depth looked varied, the grey was patchy and uneven and the whole thing looks insanely irritated and bloody. Knowing that I am into tattoos (we are hanging out soon) if he asks me about it what is acceptable to say? Typically I’m a big guy into honesty but this isn’t something he’s going to be able to cover easily and I don’t want to make him feel bad. Any thoughts would be appreciated. |
