My feet hurt.

I've walked a lot today, and my feet hurt.

It had a lot of fun, though. The castle was awesome and the several cathedrals and basilicas I visited were awesome.

One, in particular, really blew me away. Not only was the structure a beautiful neo-gothic, the inside walls were treated like canvases for gorgeous depictions of saints, and every nook was treated like a gallery to fill with gold and art. The pietá was all flats and sharp turns and Jesus' face shaped fading away, melting into death. The altar was like saints and angels and cherubs erupting from golden flames. I loved it!

Today, I shall rest.

Tomorrow, we go again.

I wore shorts.
