I have noticed small inconsistencies over time, here's a slightly bigger one. See this comment - it gets rendered like this:

I don't see how this could be browser related, right? This must be a bug in how pyfedi reads and renders markdown?

Yeah, square brackets within square brackets isn't something we've tested before.

Definitely a bug.
