I don't like to think of it as "failing masculine social norms." I like to think of it as recognizing that those norms are fucking stupid and choosing to do my own superior thing 😎 blows my mind that people would seriously look at the state of the world today and think "oh yeah the status quo rn is great, I'd better defend it." |

The guy at the BBQ store got mad at my dad for wanting a cheaper BBQ, and said "well come back when you want a MAN'S barbecue!" and my dad was just so flabbergasted he never went back. Like a reverse Hank Hill. |
