I had a funny interaction the other day that sounds like it's cooked up in here. So I'm inclined to share it.

I'm a taxi driver in Iceland, and one evening I get stopped by a guy outside a bar.

'can you take five?'

'i can take five!'

'great!'

Gestures at his group to come, begins coming into the car.

'i am from Greece!'

'very good!'

Everyone comes into the car, I drive off. Two minute later I ask if everyone is from Greece. Everyone starts laughing and shouting malaka malaka!

'no we have one greek, two Bulgarians, one Ukrainian, and one Argentinian....but we are all from Greece!'

Everyone in the car shouts in protest. I know it's my time to step in and start the fuckery.

'well, if you think about Bulgarians are former Greeks'

It was met with loud protest. But eventually they succumbed to the fact that Bulgarian territories used to belong to Greece.

'And then the Ukrainian, that is just a greek that fled north '

Met with both protest and laughter.

'And then the Argentinians. They are fake Italians. And Italians are fake Greeks. So you guys are all from Greece!'

Met with loud protest and laughter. And this really bolstered the greek guy.

'yeah you are all Greeks, all civilizations from Greece, all cultures from Greece, and Alexander the great....'

I cut him off with finger pointing

'no no no my friend he was not greek, he was Macedonian!'

He did not approve, the rest of the passenger were rolling in their seats.

I saw it, I did it, my duty was clear!
