Told I was unqualified for a job I had been doing in an acting role. They hired someone else. Now both management and the new hire ask for my help every day.

Government job, so public sector. Didn’t even interview me for the job when it was posted because I ‘didn’t meet requirements’ when I did have all prequalifying criteria. Management literally laughed in my face when I asked them why I didn’t even get an interview.

Now they’re all surprised that I won’t go above and beyond to help train the new guy. I’ve gotten asked every day for a month why I won’t help out.

Fuck this shit.
