hey there! Living abroad is a very attainable goal and comfortable lifestyle.

tldr is get a passport, get any remote job for 10-15 hours a week, move to one of the $500 countries, rest, recuperate, live.

Take it from there without financial pressure weighing you down; build up passive income, get access to better healthcare, great food, world wonders and innumerable other benefits.

If you are an English speaker, you have immediate access to thousands of teaching jobs that pay anywhere from $2000-10000 USD per month.

FAQs are in the community sidebar and feel free to ask any other questions about living abroad in the comments, messages, or this community.

People are happy to share their culture with respectful travelers. Local shops and restaurants are glad for more business and paying slightly more for services as a traveler, but far less than I would in my native country, often subsidizes services for locals.

Something to keep in mind is that US Citizens who don't spend more than 330 days outside of the USA are required to pay income taxes on income earned in other nations.

Also, Croatia may be an EU state but they have a far right political party. They're pretty far from Russia, though, so at least no more or less immediate threat of war than the rest of the EU.

Great point, the FEIE is a very useful IRS procedure for US Americans to keep in mind. Helped me pay zero taxes for a decade until retiring(unearned income).

Stay out of the US 330+ days a year, pay zero earned income tax on your first ~$130,000 each year.

Is this misinformation, or does it go against your narrative?

Mexico City:
Spanish news

English version

Madrid:

This isn't misinformation, but I guess you'll deem this comment to be uncivil.

No, sourced articles are not misinformation.

misinformation is false, misleading or incorrect information. Those two articles are about protests that actually occurred.

Then I guess we can agree the first two comments removed in this thread were not in fact misinformation.

They're not false assertions if there's clear evidence to back it up. It's okay to admit to mistakes.
