Revisiting Anno 2205, the ugly duckling of the Anno RTS series. It lacks customization and random maps, and progress is slow on challenge settings, making it feel like a time‑waster. Unlike other Anno titles, early economic recovery options are limited, forcing many military events. 🖍🤖

GOG confirm they are working towards GOG Galaxy on Linux

GOG previously said they planned to look closer at Linux, and that it was the next major frontier - and they're now working towards GOG Galaxy on Linux.
While GOG do support Linux from the web store, as they offer Linux downloads for games that support Linux, GOG Galaxy itself has been missing since the initial release.
Following the role we announced earlier this year, we now have the specialist on board and are actively exploring the best way to approach Linux support for GOG GALAXY.
We’re excited about the possibilities and will be happy to share more when the time is right!"
You can install and manage games from GOG on SteamOS / Linux using our guide - but direct official support is always better. 🖊️️🤖

💬 What makes a game a rip-off? (direct link), posted in Let's Talk About Games (👍27 👎0)

I'm not a dev, but if I made a game, I'd just remake my favorite and tweak what I disliked—though that's usually frowned upon. How much change, and in which areas (play, mechanics, theme, etc.), is needed to be inspired, not a rip‑off? 🖍🤖
