Removal of a very cordial & jovial explanation of my anarchist stance regarding monogamy was misread as “rude and confrontational.” I ended conversations respectfully, not expecting backlashes of monogamists in what I thought was a very sarcastic post “Healthy ruleationships.” All I want is the comments returned. The thread can stay locked if the community wishes, and I will not engage in it anymore.

I just used a script to read the thread with your comments repopulated to get the full context and, even though I 100% agree with you, your tone consistently comes off as hella patronizing, which does not read like a jovial conversation

it should be cordial. I do like to teach, so I may have had a teaching tone, but not patronizing. I did request not to be patronized about in intimacy, and bunch of other people did.

I feel like you'd benefit to work on your teaching tone tbh; I think folks got defensive in response to it. It is an especially touchy topic, teaching people that they're participating in oppression

To me I would more attribute it to people being messy bitches about their personal business. Yet bigamy is illegal, in all US states.

I read the whole thread before your comments were removed, and you weren't being as cordial and jovial as you think you were. The discussion came across as rather heated and didn't seem like anyone involved was really listening to what the others were saying. I don't believe the moderator was being a PTB by removing your comments, just doing their job in this case. If they had outright banned you instead, then that'd be a bit much as you weren't being outright hostile or saying anything warranting a ban.

I fail to see how a lightning emoji is supposed to signal jovial or cordial intent. Most of the time people use emojis to be obnoxious.

Because when I do see emojis used, it's usually something like

I wouldn't say they were attempting to be super rude or anything, maybe a bit sassy if anything, but I didn't mind. My biggest issue was that there were a lot of miscommunications and lack of clarity, I think mainly due to their responses being a bit logically scattered. They tended to make leaps in conclusions, causing them to make rebuttals against claims I never made.
