The 1956 Suez crisis is remembered today as the last gasp of British and French imperial power in the Middle East, but it took years to reach that inevitable end. American primacy will not disappear immediately, either, but long-building doubts about American power and purpose have passed their tipping point.

and both the french and british empires continue on -- continuing to fuck up the lives of billions of people today and for several generations before it finally fizzles out. assuming that they're not rescued (again) by any other member of the epstein global oligarchy via another world war.

Both empires are dead now with France and Britain having become vassals of the American empire.

if the french empire is truly dead, then why are over a dozen african nations still forced to peg their currencies to the euro, with central african countries still required to park half their reserves in france's treasury?

The junior partners of the US empire get some scraps, but there is a clear pecking order.
