I use invidious for youtube watching. and I set the resolution to 480p (because of my internet)
I have noticed for sometime that the video looks more smooth and less pixel-y than before.
but when I used video snapshot (which take a frame) and I saw that the frame that firefox saved to my drive is pixel-y and less smooth and not like the video it shows to me.

I even checked with screenshot (which take picture of screen and not a direct video frame extract) and I can see that it is smoothed.

what is happening?

could it be AMD ?
could it be my desktop KDE doing something?

it is a bit hard to show it but I can clearly see that the video frame I extract is less smooth that the video shown.
