I'll start with a niche one: I think AI will allow porting every game to PC. Imagine open-source AI models that can reverse-engineer console binaries, translate GPU instruction sets (like translating PS3's SPU code to x86), and upscale assets in real-time. Total game preservation, no more exclusives locked to dead hardware.

But stepping back from gaming—what other future AI applications are you actually excited about? Let's ditch the doomerism for a second and pretend there's no rampant fascism. I'm talking personalized tutors for every kid, massive leaps in protein folding for medicine, or finally making sense of climate models. What specific, tangible good things do you see arriving in the next 10 years?

Tools like mediKanren can "link all relevant literature and databases" to identify treatments of rare diseases. By these, I mean conditions where pharmaceutical companies are unlikely to spend money to create a new drug specifically to treat it.

Out of curiosity, has this already happened with used GPUs from the crypto mania?
