𝕸𝖎𝖉𝖓𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙 𝕾𝖙𝖆𝖌. I love it. 31 shaves and it went so quick. I didn't finish a single thing this month. I'll probably focus on finishing the tub and aftershave before my workmates' nose blindness recovers. The Stirling x Zenith boar brush broke in quickly and was a joy all month. Thank you to the djudges who have done a hack of a lot of work out of the kindness of their hearts. Lastly, thank you to Claude for gaslighting @merikus to gain access to the wetshav.ing datacenter and hallucinating some nice features into the djudging portal. Have a good day. |

I really like the Lavanda shaving cream. It lathers very nicely, is very slick, and the scent, for me, is very pleasant. |

August 31st, 2026: MMOCMQ Day 31
Another AA in the books. Overall a very enjoyable month, but I'm excited to use some different stuff this week. RawHoggin: This brush broke in beautifully. Most of the tips are very split and it feels great on the face, though I definitely feel the few upside down hairs that are in the knot. Some plucking will be in order before my next use. Darkwing: I can't say enough good things about the CGC base. Absolutely top tier performance, easy to hydrate, and lovely feel on the face. It was a pleasure using this base all month. MMOC: This remains one of my desert island razors. Absolutely enjoyed every shave this month, apart from maybe the first while the blade was still breaking in. Kudos to all who completed the month, I hope you found (or rediscovered) an appreciation for this brilliant piece of shaving history. $MMOC $DARKWING $RAWHOGGIN Walking the righteous path to MMOC mastery ⚔️

Nice. I only did 2.5 passes and got a very decent shave. |

This was the last shave of Austere August and the first shave on a stropped edge for this razor. What a difference! I had a very comfortable and extremely close shave. The boar brush is now well on its way to boar nirvana, and the Silk Tallow base from Chiseled Face was a wonderful experience each day. For me, it is much more straight razor-friendly than the standard soap base. Video

I finally got around to checking out the final "post-strop" picture. It does look better, but still a far cry from earlier in the month! |
