Please take your seats. New season coming soon, only on Dropout.

I've never gotten inte MSN simply because they don't use real points. It's like eating food without spice.

Huh why do the points matter? I've never seen it as an actual competition since it spun off. Just watch the comedians be funny ¯\(ツ)/¯

Intellectually I know that the points don't matter, however, they make the whole game feel more fun. Without them I just... don't care about the ge as a whole, even if the individual bits are funny by themselves. I could just be watching a compilation on youtube insted then.

Each to their own!

Personally I enjoy the low stakes it creates. I don’t think everything has to be a fraught competition. But I’m in the UK and grew up with panel shows (HIGNFY, QI, WILTY, etc) where fake points are the norm - the entertainment is the focus and declaring a winner is basically just a formality.

Maybe it’s a cultural thing?

Sure thing, Brennan...
