Nice. Keep up the good work. Those poses are hard to draw. |

I can tell you have no shortage of good instruction, but I will share my book collection on the subject: https://storage.to/tp52QSNW6 I also recommend attempting contour sketching, sketching from the outside in, and measuring angles and lengths by sight in addition to your current style of blockout sketching. Fun story, the best grade I ever got in art class was drawing a skeleton by sight, and I spent 4/5ths of the class carefully drawing the lines to represent lengths and angles I took measurement by holding my pencil and hand all the way out between me and the prop for reference by sight, which is to say meticulously building a skeleton of the skeleton. EDIT: Also, while accuracy is cool, NEVER lose your style. |

I haven't really developed a style unless you count the sketchy look that I have. I have trouble with shape language. Something I want to develop. |

Great job! Just a small advice: sometimes it helps to stand back a bit and just look at the overall shape. Please don't take thos as a critique - because you are doing great job. If you look at the girl on the photo, on the sticking out leg: if you draw a straight line up you will see where the hand should be compared to the ankle. Similar thing with the triangle of the legs: how long and tall ...
This being done on Krita, I could have always shrunk the entire thing since it was digital. So, no I would never run out of paper. I just never practiced people in a while, my expertise is animals and creatures. I am just now getting back to people. |
