DelistedGames lists games that were, at one point, available for play or digital "purchase", but are no longer so. I want to know if there are any sites that lists games that never had any sort of digital release - stuff like Battlefield Vietnam, Universe at War or Freelancer. I can't figure if mobygames has some sort of filter to show only games currently on sale, that would suffice |

The vast majority, yeah, but not necessarily all. |

A significant number of games released before 2005 had digital releases later. It's basically GOGs whole thing. |

There better not be such a site. That kind of info has to be kept away from AI scrapers. |

Yeah I guess they have limited resources, and their aim is to have the older games work on modern PCs. Not sure when you were doing this but I can absolutely understand that Windows 7 compatibility isn't a focus for them in 2026 since MS support ended in 2023. |

Any sort of digital release? How exactly does one play a computer game that has not had any sort of digital release? Are you expecting to scan your game's binary files and assets from microfilm? Maybe your actually just looking for some TTRPG? There were some VHS games once upon a time, maybe that's what you're after? |

No need to be pedantic. By digital release, I meant buying a copy for direct download off the internet, like you do with Steam or GOG. Many games prior to 2006 only ever had physical releases and were never sold in digital stores |

That’s so funny: I was just last night trying to track down a long-gone big bang theory fan-made game (not to play it, just to see if my memory of it even existing was real). |
