What stuck in my mind (and my craw) is not that the Zuckerborg fucked it up, but that what CA is doing - flooding social media with bot content to influence voting - was and still is perfectly legal.
That should've been the bigger scandal imo.

So there's nothing illegal about what Mee-lon is doing here. And that's a broken system, to quote his on-and-off-its-complicated buddy.

That said, he's known to break the confines of too-weak legislation on this matter, and he's likely to do it here as well.

Don't you already register an address (or mail address) wherever you live? So you have the record of who's allowed to vote but you make them go and tell you that they want to vote before they're allowed to?
