Today, I feel a sort of numbness towards the ever-churning of the world.

Things happen, and yet, nothing ever happens. That's not true, of course... Many people's lives are upended every day, things are destroyed, changed, mutated; Still, I'm not one of those people. Even as I change, as my things and the things around me change, it's as if I remain the same regardless.

There's so much complication and stress, and that does get to me, but the more I think about it, the more it washes off.

It's not a particularly good feeling, that. I feel like there are things that shouldn't just wash off.

I watched a video about propaganda not so long ago and it stuck with me a little. The narrator talked about that; The feeling of things just washing off because it's easy. About how talking to oneself out of caring, feeling, or engaging with complicated or even just uncomfortable issues. Scary issues.

I wore my dark pants, today.

By the way, I mentioned a few days ago that I was trying to go for an event in a game I play. I don't know if I actually ended up mentioning it, actually... But I succeeded! I got my top 25 finish.
