The singer arrived at the film’s photocall in a sharply tailored black skirt suit from Gucci’s fall 2026 collection. She accessorized with Gucci oval-frame sunglasses, Stuart Weitzman Babette pumps, and a chunky Leo Black Grandfather silver signet ring. With this sleek, controlled silhouette, her hair swept back and makeup kept soft and barely there, it’s a look that revels in the elegantly ladylike with a contemporary edge.

Her legs were left visibly unshaven beneath the abbreviated hemline. Rather than undermining the femininity of the look, unapologetic hair sharpens it. Bridgers’s multiple leg tattoos were also on show, including a tattoo of intertwined thorns and leaves and a black-ink rendering of a house that references her Punisher album.

Body hair isn't a flaw.

I'm happy she's normalizing it.

It's nice to see body hair on women become more normalized.

People should be allowed to present how they want. Body hair is natural and not objectively disgusting. Subjectively, I'm one of the people who find it a turn off for sexual partners (of any gender), but that has nothing to do with people who are living their lives unrelated to me, or are platonic friends/acquaintances who their body matters less to me than their brain.

I mean, theoretically she might be, but there is no escaping that beauty standards are a trap that usually benefit a minority, because beauty needs to be rare to have value.

The modern push to change beauty standards seem predicated on the false belief that eventually everyone will be included. Every update to beauty standards has winners and losers. If body hair becomes the standard, light-haired and lightly-haired women will be having procedures to darken and thicken their body hair.

The problem isn't so much how beauty standards are defined, but that they exist at all, or, more practically, how strictly they are enforced, and especially for women.

Body hair being normalized doesn't mean it has to become the standard.

Great point! Yes, if body hair were just allowed to exist, that would be progress!

Nothing says "statement" like Gucci branding. Celebrity is insufferable.
