Be civil. Bigotry is not welcome. This includes (but is not limited to): transphobia, queerphobia, racism, ageism and ableism. We do not promote hate.
Communities need to be Retro or Retro-adjacent.

TL;DR

Google’s Advanced Protection mode currently clubs several security features that users can’t opt out of individually, except for Intrusion Logging.

We’ve now discovered that Google is preparing to move USB Protection, Intrusion Detection, and Unsecured Wi-Fi Networks into an optional “Expert features” section.

The change could give users more flexibility while retaining Advanced Protection’s strongest protections for those who want them.
