The Maple Ridge, British Columbia, native joins Christine Bumstead's coaching staff following time with the Coquitlam Express of the British Columbia Hockey League.

I don't recognize any of what's on his resume, but that probably says more about my hockey knowledge than his experience

Sonne joins the Torrent organization following the past two seasons as an assistant coach with the Coquitlam Express of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL). He also spent time with the Ridge Meadows Flames of the Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL), where he helped the team win its first championship in 2023-24.

Beyond the PWHL I know about nothing when it comes to hockey. Although New Mexico does have a minor league team now in some men's hockey league. I need to check out our games.
