an offline friend recommended me the video All My Homies Hate Skrillex: A Story about what happened with Dubstep (52:52)
its a really well made video and clearly a lot of passion went in. it's about a subject i have no familiarity with, nor interest in, and yet the story was fascinating and emotional, this musical genre clearly having deeply touched the creator. it isn't a dour cynical video bashing skrillex, that's just a small part of it. it's mostly a love letter to the dubstep genre and that moment in time. give it a watch
