Open Registration with Application questionnaire.

If you have a question or comment you can post in !meta@retrofed.com or message @DosDude@retrofed.com or @Die4Ever@retrofed.com

In case of downtime and/or emergency, we will post updates on @DosDude@mastodon.social

Some rules we try to uphold:

  • Be civil. Bigotry is not welcome. This includes (but is not limited to): transphobia, queerphobia, racism, ageism and ableism. We do not promote hate.
  • Communities need to be Retro or Retro-adjacent.
  • Please don't upload pornographic content. (use an external image host for that)

Thank you to cm0002 for reposting my meme from lemmy to lemmy.

Two screenshots side by side. Screenshot 1 reads "submitted by gerald_eliasweb to memes. 39 points. 0 comments". Screenshot 2 reads "submitted by cm0002 to memes. 497 points. 54 comments"

Edit:
I originally posted my post to memes/lemmy.ml and cm0002 "reposted" it to another instance.

Im fine with reposts, even reposts without credit. But reposting a meme from one lemmy community to another lemmy community a day after the original and not crediting/cross-posting is just shitty and pointless. Sharing a meme to another platform is the digital version of telling a joke, sharing it to the same platform is the digital version of saying someone else's joke louder.
