In short they made a sale commercial for nazi games with symbols in guise of "slavic" and"pagan" symobolism, then withdrew the commercial from Germany because nazism is illegal there. But only made a half arse apology after they got a customer backlash. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GOG.com

Colony Ship is a great game if you like RPG-focused mechanics your RPGs and don't mind the top down view.

I haven't played the game in question, so I am not going to comment on its use of symbolism.

But one thing to consider is a German ban is not as good of a metric as one might consider.

Germany still allows russian pro-genocidal imperialism z marches.
