How is Dread Central’s track with rumors? Would be neat.

I’ve not played the games so take this with a grain of salt, but I enjoy the first movie as well. The second one legit offended me I recall. The third was second monitor content but I remember very little of the second half as I think that’s where I felt it started to lose itself rapidly, but I didn’t get upset with visuals like some as I knew it was going to be lower budget going in.

I feel like the same approach could be cool though as their mention of RE. Focus on a good movie and something new.

I've always held the opinion that the first Silent Hill movie is a decent horror movie, but an awful Silent Hill movie. Christophe Gans has continuously failed to understand the source material.

Personally I just want a faithful adaptation. So a Zach Cregger treatment is not something I'd prefer. If the alternative is yet another Return to Silent Hill, I'd embrace Zach with open arms though.

Not with Christophe Gans, apparently. Return to Silent Hill was probably the worst of his films by a long shot.

Which is kinda insane given the plot of Silent Hill 2 would be pretty easy to adapt for film.

While I haven’t played, I get it would be a shame if the only one to exist was basically its own thing entirely. Maybe with their release of new games, they will be picky with who they say yes to now.
