Every QR code I find is ocarina of time 3d. I want the OG version. I don’t want to get in trouble downloading something that risks my WiFi getting cut. Any advice is welcome. Thank you! |

It sounds like you're looking for a ROM file for Ocarina of Time. You might check the megathread on !piracy@lemmy.dbzer0.com for some ROM sites. Just use some caution and judgement when visiting sites y'know. Speaking of, I'd also avoid random QR codes. I've never heard of anyone distributing pirated stuff via QR code links, which are already sketchy as hell. A lot of websites will also host old game ROMs, but not Nintendo stuff, because they're pretty adamant about piracy. |

I'm two weeks late, but try the MiNERVA Archive, they have the entire N64 library on there. All downloads are served through bittorrent. If you're worried about getting in trouble, enable mandatory encryption in your torrent client (it's called "Require encryption" in qBitttorrent, for example) and maybe throw a VPN into the mix, too. |
