Always make sure the area is clear of our spider friends first before a shower or vacuuming or such. They're just trying to help.

The spiders and I have an accord: They get 6 inches down from the ceiling as their territory, and any dark place where I can't see them. If they make themselves visible outside that area, they're deported to outside. As long as they abide by this, I will throw any other bug I find in my house except bees into a spider web.

I grew up in Jamaica and had a shower made out of concrete. I used to always have to run the (cold) water for a few minutes before i got in so all the bugs and frogs could get out.

Nice rhubg to do, I approve. But may I ask: why not bees? Do you have an accord with them too?

Bees are in danger and far more important to the ecosystem as pollinators than as spider food. Plus any bee in my house is clearly just lost and confused rather than trying to move in.

Do you live in a cave? Because that could explain things.

I haven't seen many spiders this year. Maybe 10% of what I had last year. I'm not even sure I've seen any in my house this year. It's weird. They use to be all over the outside of my house. Kept a lot of mosquitoes and insects away.

Don't know why the change this year. I haven't done anything different.

Depending on your location, that bee might be an invasive species.

Same, I think I'm cursed, there was one crawling up my leg yesterday inside my pants. No shortage of spiders out here
