I've figured I'd give myself a little luxury shave with a straight razor this evening. I'm getting pretty good at stropping with my left hand as to not bother my right thumb. Eventually I expect to be just about as good as I am with my right hand.

I ordered two tubs of soap today from Barrister & Mann, so now I'm going to focus on killing one or two tubs. I love Batters Up, and I finally got to the ring of death stage with this shave. Noble Otter seems to get used up pretty quickly so this seems like a good candidate to focus on.

I agree, that vegan base is great. I think Pencil Pusher is in the vegan base but I'm not sure. Every time I use my sample I'm surprised by it. Could it be? Better than the non-vegan version?!

It’s certainly a great performer. Not sure if I’d say it’s better, but I tend to have an easier time making a good lather with it.

It seems to need less water maybe. Idk, I like it a lot.

According to Will's notes my favorite when smelling them blind at Maggard was Waits, followed by Two Walters.
