CRRC presented the prototype of the hydrogen fuel cell-battery version of its Velforce freight locomotive family at the InnoTrans 2026 trade fair in Berlin.

The six-axle locomotive with a modular design has a power of 2 000 kW, and can be refuelled in 15-20 min.
