Aw baby cat. :) I've stayed home the past 2 days, because sick. Still sick, don't want to go in at all, but also don't want to miss 4 clinic hours. Wish me luck just avoiding people.

I love ginger beer! I sometimes add lime for a mocktail Moscow Mule. I've tried making a ginger bug (kind of analogous to a sourdough starter) before, without success.

Idk if you mean America as in the USA or "The Americas" but I personally associate it with the Carribean, specifically Jamaica and Guyana but that's probably because it's actually British in origin and colonization brought a lot of that over and influenced the cuisine.

Definitely was thinking US, and to an extent canada :3 that's because I've only seen it in media made in the US, and not for any factual history of ginger beer lol. The can of the drink is very much caribbean themed, and even the name of the brand I got is caribia :3

That's a fluffy little feller. He's so cute. I'd like a cat but I can't have one. I might be allergic anyway. I'm still not sure. I can't resist petting them when the opportunity arises. I'm scared it would try to eat me. I'm also scared of toxoplasma gondii. But HE'S SO FWUFFFY!!!

Been thinking about how apparently calling your parents at work was a thing kids did.

But my mother was in education so if we were at school she was, and if we weren't, she wasn't. So we never have a reason to call her? And dad traveled for work so until cell phones were a thing we'd never have managed to call him. I know I called the child study team once, but why? Did a nurse call and give me the phone?

I once had to find the number of a hotel my mother and her husband were at and call them because she didn't check in. Made me feel so sick. But she did call back. She was fine. Not much cell reception there.

I feel like shit. Sinuses bad, aching, swype wants to spell aging instead. That too.
