i was riding my banana-seat 2-wheeler by then, but i had a 'regular' one with the skid brake before that. probably around '74 or so.

Back when marketing wisdom taught us that alienating 50% of potential buyers (it's only for boys!) was the sure fire way to boost sales.

Still a cool toy, though.
