I count this as a favor to expositors: I bought a 200 USD Dragon Eclipse boardgame to find out most card illustrations were slopped, so I'll definitely stay away from whatever Awaken Realms wants to slop next. If I catch a whiff of slop, I'm not game. |

I like farmers markets, car boot sales and antique stores because i like to buy quality and/or used items. The amount of AI slop product is getting silly. It then makes you question the credibility of the place I am in. If i see these things at a place selling antiques or unique items, I simply don't buy. Its been a haven for mass produced masterminding for artisan for a whilst but its not artisan...its just tat. Small pop up style shopping have differentiated themselves from standard retail for a whilst, and promoted local, quality. People turn up and are happy to pay usually a little more to support artists and small scale producers, in order to protect those genuine stallholders and ensure a long term audience, they need to tackle the tat. |
