The euphemism treadmill keeps churning.

Forbidden to say "Latino," but alienated from "Latinx," yet not so alienated as to feel okay using "Latine," now people are starting to utter "Latine/x."

How do you even pronounce that?

Fighting Nazism/racism is hard. Fighting their basis and reasoning is even harder. But imagine if you're living from that? What should you do? Fighting/inventing terminology, of course!

I hadn't heard the term "euphemism treadmill" before, thanks for that.

Honestly feels like a lot of these attempts to be inclusive are counterproductive. If it's not an outright slur we should generally be okay with it. Everyone knows what you are really saying anyway so it feels disingenuous to cut people off and correct them with a synonym that's gonna last a year before someone decides that's offensive too.
