On the phone with a government department/service/what-have-you. Got put on hold. I expect some kind of sober classical music, if any music at all. Or maybe some generic hold music written for that purpose. Instead I got energetic country music, all instruments, no singing. I do like it, but I found it unexpected and funny.

I seem to have a pattern of noticing unconventional (or just fun) hold music...

Couple weeks ago the music in Safeway was Van Halen, which made me feel old. Well I mean, I AM old, I just don't usually feel that way
