I know a few trans men who have been really supportive of women but the cis men I have known largely embrace patriarchy 🤷🏼♀️ |

My father. He was incredibly supportive of my mother, one of the first doctors in my city. He shared the house load equally with two kids, and absolutely supported my mother when, in her late 40s, she decided to change her specialization and needed a handful of years of training (I don’t remember the details). He always treated me and my brother equally and fairly, pushed me to achieve anything I wanted. He was the one enrolling me in martial arts when I was 7 or 8. My partner. He relocated 3 times for my career, has always appreciated my drive, and holds up his own share with the household and kids. There are honestly many others |

My boyfriend, otherwise we wouldn't still be going strong over 10+ years. Even though he is absolutely not in touch with his own feelings and has trouble understanding mine sometimes, when I communicate once what I need from him in a certain situation, he remembers and he is always there. |
