For years, the Manchester Guardian, which was banned from Germany in 1933 for highlighting Adolf Hitler’s antisemitism, called for immigration restrictions to be lifted for Jews, lobbied for pressure to be applied to neutral nations to open their borders to refugees and for special rescue measures, realising that “the Nazis were aiming at the complete elimination of an entire group of people”.

Wait till people find out how the British treated pretty much every other demographic who were victims of the Holocaust...

Romani and LGBTQ for example.

Like, they sterilized Turing after the Nazis were defeated. Sterilization was the Nazis first plan for the various "undesirable demographics".

Hell, look at how America kept treating lgbtq, people with mental illness, people with genetic conditions, natives and Black people, which was the literal inspiration for the Nazi programs.

It's just so fucked up even when the Holocaust comes up, people ignore half the victims and why they were victims.

Isn't it funny that the most antisemitic countries seem to support Israel the most? Theodore Herzel (the founder of Zionism) predicted that antisemites would be Israel's greatest supporters and that antisemitic countries would be her best allies.

We have to remember that Jewish refuges was a big problem after the war. At the time, countries like the US, Canada, and the UK had strict limits on immigration. (see the voyage of the dammed, SS. St. Louis) So from the antisemitic perspective of the Allies, it would be super if the Jews immigrated to Palestine instead. If the Jews killed the Palestinians, then all the better!

The Shoah (Holocaust) was a crime committed by European Christians. Zionists and European Christians have common cause in obscuring this fact.

Someone said that the Holocaust was just colonialism brought to Europe.

All countries knew. Every single country. And they still denied Jewish visas. It's why Anne Frank died, for example.

Lgbtq+ people who had been in concentration camps were rearrested and had to finish their sentences. Obscene.

Somehow, the lesson that the Allies and the Jews took from the Nazis, was to Pay It Forward.
