I mean, maybe they’re a liiiittle fatty, but I’m not going to be eating boneless skinless chicken breast instead.

I made a Thai green curry with enough ghost peppers that I’m taking firey shits today and that boneless skinless chicken breast was damn tasty.

Part of being an adult is knowing that satisfying your cravings shouldn't come at the expense of another's suffering.

Don’t worry I just remove the wings and release the chickens to enjoy a fulfilling life.

Now imagine how much better it would have been with wings.

purposely made right they are great but like with rotiseri I eat them first because that is the point in time where they will be at their best but they are not the best part.

I like them dry with a rub on them and barbecued.

Six to eight weeks but they grow back smaller and tougher.

I get no pleasure from being reminded that I'm surrounded by those that choose to inflict suffering.

That's why I only eat them twice a week.

I know it's not the healthiest of the foods but being Finnish chicken it's at least not seasoned with literal poison and considering that I airfry them it's at least better than deepfryed. Let me have my wings and comforting lies. Cooking and eating is such a struggle for me.

I don't get the appeal of chicken wings. The amount of work involved vs the meat payout is way lopsided.

I remember saying to my roommate at the time, 30+ years ago, something like, "I can just buy and eat cake whenever I want. What the hell?"

This was just before my realization that pie is superior to cake in every way.

Chicken wings are only food on medium difficulty. Whole crabs take more energy to open than you gain from meat.

Sometimes it's not all about how easy it is to eat something. Sometimes if something tastes good enough, I'm willing to put in the smallest amount of effort.

pie is superior to cake in every way.

For me, that depends. I have had both shitty cakes and shitty pies. The cake needs to avoid butter cream or frosting in favour of whipped cream, and the pie needs to NOT be mostly sugar in the filling/topping.

I’ve had a sweet tooth since childhood, and the only foods which have ever turned that sweet tooth against me (in terms of having an expected sugar presence) have been both pies and cakes.

I don't intentionally eat bugs so that's a non issue for me.

Every time I've had it I taste whatever was put on it, zero chicken taste. At that point you may as well just make little dumplings with batter and the seasonings and keep it boneless.

If you have a Publix within range, for example, their "naked wings" are quite tasty. While they do season them lightly with salt and some sort of spice, they're basically just fried wings, but very tasty.

Compared to lots of other foods, chicken wings aren't especially unhealthy, I think? They aren't normally deep fried, chicken is a healthier meat than beef or pork, not sure there are good health reasons not to eat them every day? Of course it gets boring after a while.

Sometimes I prefer food that takes work to eat because I know I'm not actually all that hungry, just bored.

The only defining trait of adulthood is responsibility, for yourself and those around you, so yes. ✌️
