Be civil. Bigotry is not welcome. This includes (but is not limited to): transphobia, queerphobia, racism, ageism and ableism. We do not promote hate.
Communities need to be Retro or Retro-adjacent.

What emerges is a pattern, not three unconnected stories. Insecurity at Hormuz, Bab al-Mandeb and Suez reaches a Pakistani household choosing between fuel and food, a Turkish exporter recalculating shipping times, and an Egyptian ministry watching a currency it cannot defend indefinitely.

We are far closer to collapsing into a genuine world war than most people seem to be convinced we are and it terrifies me.
